I've started writing up loads of different things for a comic...but there's one thing I can't seem to keep with and that's the style of the drawings. I had one style I drew during class a couple days ago, but I don't really like it anymore. With this, I drew a more realistically styled character but then found a picture of a chibi-type person that really inspired me. I'm just wondering if I should use a realistic style or if I should use the chibi one...
I'm afraid that if I use the chibi one the comic won't be taken as seriously and people will expect more humour and the like.
Also, I'm looking for extra characters for the comic, if you want one, just drop me a line with the basics for him or her. It also doesn't have to be human, you can make it pretty much anything, but I'm trying to keep with an elemental theme, so like, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light and Dark. Although, I don't know yet if I need more Dark characters...

On a side note, my brother found a kitteh down in a park behind my house, we've called him Kyo (After Kyo Sohma) because not only is he orange, but he'll claw you to hell. =.=
I'm hoping that my dad can take him because we've already got 2 cats and that's all this place will allow.
